Selkirk stone pendant necklace with freshwater pearls and sterling silver

This stunning stone came from the eastern shores of Lake Ontario, where the lake has tumbled millions of stones into beautiful and smooth shapes. I tumbled this particular stone for an additional 5 weeks to achieve the satiny shine that really brings out the colors and textures of the granite and quartz. I then wire-wrapped it with sterling silver to make a pendant, which I strung with delicate rice pearls and antiqued sterling silver. This is truly a one-of-a-kind, nature-inspired piece from the stormy Great Lakes region!
